THE PASSION THAT DRIVES US
Welcome to Rahona Valley, the Peninsula's sparkling wine haven. Our unwavering passion for sparkling and cool climate wines drives us to share this fervour with fellow enthusiasts.
In 2014, Toby and Dianne's dream of owning a Mornington Peninsula property led them to Rahona Valley, a hidden gem nestled in the secluded Red Hill South valley. They instantly fell in love with this charming vineyard, one of the smallest commercial ones on the Peninsula at the time. Their journey commenced with the purchase of this precious land, propelling them into the captivating world of wine.
In 2020, they founded the Australian Cuvee Centre, a Dromana-based winery dedicated to crafting sparkling wines. This state-of-the-art facility is now utilised by Rahona and other esteemed wineries across the Mornington Peninsula and beyond.
Together with their expert team, including Chief Winemaker Natalie Fryar and Senior Winemaker Alisdair Park, they endeavour to create wines of exceptional quality, emphasising provenance, precision, and patience.
Starting from a modest 3-acres, Rahona Valley has expanded to over 20 acres of vineyards located across the Mornington Peninsula. Today, Rahona Valley proudly boasts a 5-star rating from the Halliday Wine Companion, showcasing a diverse selection of over 10 sparkling wines and a complementary array of cool climate table wines. While our primary focus is on Mornington Peninsula grapes, we also offer a select range made from Tasmanian grapes, delivering a unique and delightful experience for wine aficionados. Whether it be a great sparkling, devine Pinot Noir or luscious Pinot Gris, you are sure to find something you will love.
We don't aim to be everywhere. We don't aim to make everything, but we do aim to be seriously good.
